Wooden portals are part of the exhibition. Combined with an augmented reality app on the smartphone, they serve as a gateway to virtual content.

In the virtual scene, the user learns, for example, how a gecko can hang upside down on a smooth surface or how a beetle obtains drinking water from the air and how all these insights influence innovative developments in bionics.
